De Courceys Manor

In 1890 when Frederick De Courcey had a magnificent wooden hunting lodge, complete with every detail, shipped over to Wales from his native Sweden the building became a local landmark. After it burnt down in the late 1980s, the then owners decided to rebuild on the present site just outside Cardiff, to keep his legacy alive – faithfully recreating the warmth, spirit and hospitality of the historic family home.

In 2010, De Courceys Manor was handed to its current owners who have since dedicated themselves to refurbishing the establishment and repositioning De Courceys Manor as one of Wales’ most distinctive and picturesque wedding venues.
The manor is set in beautifully manicured grounds, with a backdrop of magnificent rural surroundings, and is conveniently close to Cardiff city centre and the M4 – ideal for travelling guests. Every room within the Manor is spacious and elegant; enjoy high ceilings, stunning chandeliers, and in the winter, roaring fires.
