EMU Australia Fall/Winter 2026 Collection

The Fall Winter 2026 collection draws on a heritage that began in 1948 at Jackson’s Tannery on Australia’s south east coast, where early sheepskin boots were shaped by environment rather than intention. The conditions were demanding, the approach instinctive. That way of working still underpins the brand today.

This season builds on that foundation with a quieter confidence. The collection takes its cues from the Australian landscape: sun warmed earth, worn surfaces, the richness of natural tones, translated into a palette of deep browns, and soft neutrals. There is a tactile quality throughout, in the weight of the materials, the finish of the suedes, the way each piece is designed to settle and soften with wear. It feels grounded. Lived-in. Considered without being overworked.

At its core is a continued focus on natural materials that perform as well as they feel. Australian sheepskin and Merino wool remain central, valued for their ability to regulate temperature, manage moisture and retain their structure over time. They are not just chosen for comfort, but for longevity. These are materials that improve with use.

The Platinum Collection

The Platinum Collection reflects this most clearly. Made by hand in Australia, each pair is shaped through a deliberate, multi stage process. There is no sense of urgency to it only precision. The result is footwear that holds its form, softens where it should, and carries a quiet sense of permanence. There is, however, a shift in tone.

The Sharky Collection introduces a more defined silhouette this season. Slightly elevated, more assured. Its serrated sole, inspired by the jagged line of shark teeth, brings a sharper edge to the collection, grounding it in something distinctly Australian while pushing it forward visually. Details follow this direction: stitched trims, textured finishes, subtle hardware. Nothing excessive, but enough to give each piece a stronger point of view.

Function remains integral. Waterproof constructions, durable outsoles and considered finishes ensure the collection performs across environments. From city streets to more exposed and extreme conditions. Some styles are engineered to withstand temperatures as low as -30°C, reinforcing their purpose beyond appearance. The All Weather category builds on this, with outsoles informed by the movement of ocean waves, a quiet reference back to the coastline where the brand began.

A softer note runs alongside this. The Nest Collection reflects a more relaxed approach to dressing, where indoor and outdoor are less clearly defined. The silhouettes are easy, the materials familiar, designed for comfort without compromise. Accessories such as sheepskin gloves, earmuffs and winter essentials, extend the collection beautifully.

What defines EMU is not reinvention, but consistency. A willingness to refine rather than replace. The Fall/Winter 2026 collection reflects that approach. Shaped by landscape, guided by material, and designed to be worn, not just seen.

The Fall Winter 2026 collection will launch globally in two drops from July 2026.
