Serving vegetarian and vegan takeaway lunch options, Clancy’s is definitely worth a visit on your trip around the Market. Pop by to pick up spices and ingredients to take home and cook up your own vegan storm too.

This 100% vegan café home-bakes fantastic donuts, cupcakes and sandwiches every day. A must-try for all.
- 5. Milgi, City Road.
This hipster restaurant prides itself on sourcing its ingredients locally and as organic as possible.
- 6. The Lazy Leek, Pontcanna.
This hangout creates mouth-watering burgers and donuts; how can you say no to that? This definitely a place for everyone to enjoy!
- 7. Falafel Kitchen, Crwys Road.
Falafel Kitchen specialises in Mediterranean foods: bringing falafel, hummus and wraps (and dreams of that warmer weather coming back) to the streets of Cardiff. An ideal lunch spot for vegans and vegetarians alike.
- 8. Bar 44, Westgate Street.
This modern Spanish tapas bar has a full separate vegan menu, as well as a meat-eaters’ menu. There is something for everyone to enjoy making it well worth a visit (or two).
- 9. Simply V, Castle Arcade.
If you’re ever after a tasty sandwich, salad or baked good whilst strolling around the city, Simply V is a great place to go. With a small amount of seating, or foods available to take away, you can always fit a trip into your day. They also sell a whole range of vegan foods such as cereal bars and spreads.

Fancy a taste of an iconic Welshcake but struggling to find a vegan option? Struggle no more. Just pop along to Fabulous Welshcakes and indulge in their vegan version of the local delicacy. You are in Wales, after all; it would almost be rude not to!
