1. Cardiff Christmas Festival
Being shown between the 12th till the 31st December, at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff Christmas Festival presents, The Snow Queen, a new family musical. 2. Bute Park Christmas lights trail –
This award-winning Christmas lights trail lights up Bute Park in Cardiff city centre between 22nd November till 31st December between the hours of 16:15pm – 20:30pm. This year the light trail has been completely reimagined, this incredible show leads you through Bute Park while watching the most magical light displays, this experience is designed for all the family and creates the perfect festive evening for your kids. As well as getting to witness a light trail like no other, Bute Park is also home to the Christmas village where you are surrounded by different food stalls offering many different options from burgers to chocolate.

3. The Royal Mint Christmas Experience –
Just a 30-minute drive from Cardiff city centre, you and your kids have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the best Christmas experience yet. Being held between the 23rd November till the 23rd December, you and your family get to meet some extraordinary characters as you venture through Santa’s magical workshop and discover some timeless tales. After you have met Santa’s helpers and learnt how they create the magical presents that arrive under your tree on Christmas morning, you get to meet Santa in his magical grotto and tell him all your Christmas wishes, this is the perfect day out for you and all your family and gives your kids the opportunity to meet Santa in real life.

4. Mrs Claus kitchen –
Being held every Saturday between 30th November – 21st December in Mermaid Quay, families will be welcomed to Mrs Claus’s kitchen by cheery elves before they get to take a seat on a cosy cushion and listen to a story with Mrs Claus. During the Storytime there will be immersive games such as musical statues with the cheeky elves, the children will then be able to decorate a gingerbread biscuit and write their Christmas letter to Santa before leaving with a little gift. This is a magical activity for the kids this Christmas that they will not forget.

5. Cardiff Winter Wonderland –
Cardiff Winter Wonderland is open from the 14th November till 5th January and it is the perfect day out for all the family. The whole evening is a magical experience designed for family fun, with lots of different attractions from ice skating under the stars to winning a brand-new teddy or facing your fears on a scary ride at the funfair, Winter Wonderland will create unforgettable memories for all the family and is a must visit this festive season.
