The Celtic Manor is a firm fixture of grandiose and splendour in Wales. With a world class golf course, sublime restaurants and five-star accommodation, it truly is a home-grown gem where you can relax and drift away. We decided to get familiar with the Forum Spa and try out the brand-new Champagne and Beauty Bar.
Upon entry to the Forum Spa we were greeted by helpful staff who ensured that we were supplied with robes and slippers in customary spa fashion, so that we were prepped for our treatments. The spa prides itself on having residential skincare experts and uses Elemis products exclusively, which did not disappoint. After a 45-minute facial and massage, the therapist made me feel so at ease and I was able to completely unwind. This really is a place to immerse yourself both in body and mind. The soothing aromatic scents, calming music and general ambience added to the feeling of complete revitalisation.
With glowing skin and a feeling of serenity, we headed over to the Jacuzzi area, which was the perfect ending to our Forum Spa experience.
After we were finished in the spa, what better way to continue our journey than heading over to the Champagne and Beauty Bar for further pampering. This truly is luxury heaven where you can choose to have a beauty treatment of your choice. Whether you require a manicure, pedicure, or simply want your makeup done; all your beauty needs are met. And what of the champagne? The aptly named ‘Lust List’ contains all the treatments on offer, from a champagne manicure to a Swarovski pedicure. Here you can order tantalising cocktails together with sumptuous chocolate coated strawberries, all whilst having your toenails painted. Now that is what I call beauty bliss.
