Searcys St Pancras Champagne Bar Review

Searcys Champagne Bar is located in the iconic St Pancras International Station in London, UK. It is a stylish 1920’s Art Deco-style bar with velvet booths and ‘Press for Champagne’ buttons. This renowned longest bar in Europe offers a wide range of champagnes, cocktails, and light bites. The bar is situated on the station’s upper level, overlooking the Eurostar platforms, providing a unique and memorable experience for travellers and visitors alike.

Searcys Champagne Bar is also renowned for its extensive champagne list, featuring over 70 different types of champagne, including rare and vintage bottles. The bar also offers a range of signature cocktails, classic drinks, and a selection of wines and spirits.

Searcys St Pancras offers a range of modern British dishes for lunch that incorporate seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The menu features a variety of appetisers, main courses, and desserts, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. I was fortunate to visit Searcy’s at lunchtime with a friend and got to try out bite-size snacks, which included:

Mini burgers, bacon, aged Cheddar

Portland crab rarebit, spiced cornbread & borage flower

The bar’s elegant and sophisticated interior features a stunning central bar and luxurious seating areas. The bar’s design pays homage to the station’s history, with original features such as the restored Victorian glass roof and ornate metalwork.

Shetland mussels mariniere

More recently, Searcys at St Pancras glamorous brasserie just launched a new Railway Express Menu: Aimed at pre-travel diners in a rush; guests can enjoy a 2-course meal in 45 minutes or a 3-course menu in an hour without compromising on quality. The menu is curated from seasonal British produce and meats.

Overall, Searcys Champagne Bar and Brasserie are a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy a glass of champagne, cocktails or delicious food in a memorable setting.
