This Make Up Revolution concealer dupe has everyone talking

Sometimes, there’s no hiding when you’ve had a long week. It doesn’t matter how much coffee and concealer you use to remedy the effects of tired eyes, sometimes those dark circles just won’t budge. Yup, those charcoal tinted raccoon eyes are always fun. Luckily, I came across a Make Up Revolution must have, a concealer that rivals the quality of its high end companions.

At start of the year, Make Up Revolution announced that they would be releasing a new concealer, branded as ‘The Conceal & Define.’ With an impressive 18 shades ranging from very fair to very deep, and carrying a variety of undertones, it truly is the concealer for everyone.

So what’s the big deal?

Make Up Revolution has become known for creating purse friendly dupes of high end products, and this is no exception.

It’s most commonly compared to the popular Tarte Shape Tape concealer, a beauty guru favourite from last year.

The formulas are super similar, they are lightweight when applied but still give a full coverage to hide those dark circles and occasional blemishes.

The tubes for both products come with a doe-foot applicator for easy distribution of the concealer. The size of the applicator means you’ll need to use it sparingly to avoid using up the product too quickly, but that’s a minor issue.

Many argue that the only difference between these two products is the price, and as it can be tricky to get your hands on Tarte in the UK, this could be the solution. The Makeup Revolution concealer is only £4, with Tarte Shape Tape being a costly £22.

At SOTC, we’re also giving it bonus points. If you run out of foundation (guilty), it moonlights as an emergency foundation, we tried it out ourselves.

Makeup Revolution also say that if you purchase the concealer a few shades darker than your skin tone, it can be used as a cream contour due to its velvety and easily bendable formula. It’s the product that keeps on giving!

You can purchase this money saving concealer at Superdrug or through the Makeup Revolution website.
