Laings unveils new partnership with renowned whisky brand The Macallan throughout UK showrooms.
Luxury family jeweller Laings has revealed a new whisky partner in The Macallan across all four of their UK showrooms. Clients will now be invited to sample the brand’s renowned single malt whiskies while exploring the exceptional jewellery creations and luxury watch brands available in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Southampton.
Sharing a passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail, Laings and The Macallan are a partnership that work in perfect synergy. Both established in the 19th century, Laings and The Macallan have been setting the standards for excellence for generations in both of their respective industries.
Announcing Laings partnership with The Macallan, Managing Director of Laings, Stuart McDowell stated that:

The Laings team in each showroom have undergone training from experts at The Macallan to understand the history of the brand, and the outstanding quality and distinctive character of the product. Each showroom will be equipped with team members ready to guide clients through the tasting experience of The Macallan Double Cask 12 Year Old, Double Cask 15 Year Old and Double Cask 18 Year Old.
Beginning in 1824, The Macallan’s first single-malt whisky was distilled in Speyside, Scotland by founder Alexander Reid. A barley farmer and school teacher by trade, Alexander worked to create a whisky that would transcend generations with a remarkable tasting experience. In 2024, The Macallan celebrated their 200th anniversary, marking a year of reflection upon their incredible legacy.

This new partnership for Laings follows the opening of their new flagship showroom on Buchanan Street, Glasgow. The new showroom unveiled in June is housed in the iconic b-listed building Rowan House and contains Laings head office operations, newly opened service centre and two-story showroom. The Macallan has joined Laings existing refreshment partner Lanson and is available for clients now with more activity expected to come from the partnership in the coming months.
