Karen – Owner of La Vida Travel
With over 40 years in the travel industry, Karen is the driving force behind La Vida Travel’s success. Her favourite destinations include the stunning islands of the Caribbean and vibrant European escapes. She also holds a special place in her heart for Mallorca, where she met her Spanish husband while working overseas – a destination that inspired her lifelong passion for travel.
Karen has a deep love for luxury holidays, especially to Barbados and Jamaica, where she enjoys the premium all-inclusive experiences at Sandals resorts. Recently, she’s become a cruise convert, having sailed with Virgin Voyages, a premium adults-only cruise line, and Celebrity Cruises, renowned for their refined elegance. Whether you’re after a luxury beach break or a high-end cruise adventure, Karen’s wealth of personal experience ensures she can craft your perfect holiday.
Misty – Manager of the Cardiff Store
Misty is our resident adventure travel enthusiast! She’s just returned from an incredible journey through Vietnam, where she cruised along the serene waters of Halong Bay, experienced the mesmerising lantern festivals of Hoi An, and soaked up the energy of bustling Saigon.
Misty has also had the privilege of exploring China on an exclusive trip with Wendy Wu Tours, where she discovered the hidden gems of Changsha and its surrounding natural beauty. Her adventurous spirit and insider tips make her the go-to for clients seeking unique, off-the-beaten-track holidays.
