The Cowboy Carter tour is already fueling another western wear resurgence as thousands of fans race to nail the aesthetic. Searches for denim rompers and 70s cowboy fashion have surged 4,000% in the last month alone, while interest in vintage western wear and denim cowboy hats continues to rise, Social media and influencer marketing agency, Socially Powerful discovered.

But what will Beyoncé be wearing? And how much could it cost?

As she prepares to hit the stage, Socially Powerful and Trend Analyst Louisa Rogers analysed previous looks to explore the trend predictions, rumoured designer collaborations and the jaw-dropping price tag of her most expensive tour wardrobe yet.

Hitting the stage with over 148 individual looks sourced from over 35 fashion houses during the Renaissance Tour, Beyoncé isn’t expected to tone it down for 2025.

Beyoncé’s entire tour wardrobe is estimated to cost £2.2 million.

By analysing the average cost of her Renaissance tour outfits and assuming a similar number of looks this time, Socially Powerful and Louisa Rogers predict her wardrobe could reach millions.

Previously debuting her one-of-a-kind Tiffany & Co. dress in Toronto, it took meticulous handcrafting and over 200 hours to create. The total estimated cost was over $ 1 million. While her custom-made Haute Couture Heliosphere gown designed by Iris van Herpen is said to cost up to $100,000.

Fashion and trend expert Louisa Rogers explains “The Renaissance World Tour’s wardrobe generated an incredible media impact value of $187 million, benefiting various fashion houses (as estimated by Launch Metrics). While this figure reflects media exposure rather than the direct clothing creation costs, it highlights the scale and luxury of her tour wardrobes.

“During the Renaissance World Tour, Beyoncé’s outfits were valued at significant amounts for their craftsmanship, rarity and celebrity provenance. For instance, her custom Alexander McQueen pieces were estimated between $10,900 to $15,250. Given this precedent, it’s plausible that her looks for the Cowboy Carter tour could be in a similar or higher price range, especially as her star power continues to rise.”

Which trends will Beyoncé embody during Cowboy Carter?

The “Cowboy Carter” tour suggests a fusion of classical country and contemporary styles – leaning into Rodeo Futurism.

“Considering Beyoncé’s usual approach to fashion, she is likely to continue to blend traditional American Western motifs with modern, avant-garde elements that add drama, silhouette and dazzle to the outfits. You could certainly say that she is creating a hybrid trend between the old Americana and modern country. The concept of “Rodeo Futurism” – merging classic cowboy aesthetics with more futuristic leaning designs – feels a more appropriate way to display patriotism and embody American values in 2025.

“In summary, while we will not be privy to the exact details of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour before it starts, the event is anticipated to feature high-value ensembles, anticipated and potentially unexpected collaborations with top-tier designers, and a distinctive aesthetic that reimagines traditional Western themes through a disco-infused, poptimistic lens.”

Which designers is she likely to work with?

“Beyoncé has a history of working with designers, notably Alexander McQueen and surrealist champion Schiaparelli. She also has embraced designers outside of the Eurocentric concentrations of design houses, for example, she wore an outfit by Indian high-fashion designer Gaurav Gupta during a previous show. Given these collaborations, she will likely continue partnering with such designers for the “Cowboy Carter” tour.

“Additionally, she might explore new partnerships to align with the tour’s Western aesthetic. Chloe and Isabel Marant, whilst quite understated brands, have been sending some heavy-duty fringed suede and leather jackets down the runway which offer the drama needed for a stage outfit.

“Louis Vuitton’s recent menswear collection was heavily inspired by Western wear and this might bleed into their womenswear in coming seasons or in the form of a bespoke outfit for the tour. I also predict some sort of high-fashion and more revealing take on an embellished Nudie suit (pioneered by Nudie Cohn, ‘The Rodeo Tailor’ who has costumed country stars his whole life).” Louisa from Trendlistr explains.
