Basic Rights have officially launched the first drop of their much anticipated AW20 collection, inspired by the late 1970s British rock scene.

Short and long sleeved shirts are a nod to the classic days of rock and roll while maintaining the brand’s contemporary edge, joined by classically cut, straight leg pleated trousers in three essential colourways. A bold, two-tone bowling shirt and a checked long sleeve shirt round out the latest offerings from the London-based independent label.

Price Points: £70 ($87) – £100 ($125)
Size Range: XS – XL

About Basic Rights:
The 4-year-old label was launched by British guitarist Freddie Cowan, who was looking for easy, sophisticated menswear comfortable and durable enough to bring on tour without compromising his personal style- inspired by that of a young Paul Newman or Steve McQueen. An environmentally conscious design team sources ecologically sound fabrics from limited, end of roll supplies from the production line of top-end luxury brands, often from Japan. This gives finished products an additional element of quality while reducing environmental damage brought on by fabric development and made to order materials. Exclusive deadstock styles are integrated throughout each collection as well as being part of the brands’ ongoing Rubbish Collection.

Basic Rights has also partnered with Trees for the Future, an organization that offsets the carbon emissions by planting trees to produce more oxygen, and plants 1 tree for every item sold. Basic Rights has planted over 10,000 trees to date.
