Heralded as one of the fashion greats of the 20th Century, and responsible for reviving the art of couture in the 1960s, Saint Laurent is undoubtedly a fashion icon. He most notably designed the classic tuxedo suit for women in 1966, named the ‘Le Smoking’ suit, which has stayed in fashion for decades after his death, inspiring countless designers to mimic this design.
